Lionic and Cell Technology Enter Technology Partnership |

Hong Kong, April 30, 2009 – Cell Technology (Cell), a network & security technology provider headquartered in Hong Kong announced today that a technology partnership is formed with Lionc Corporation (Lionic). Lionic is an innovative network security chip design company headquartered in HsinChu, Taiwan. They provide an optimal cost-performance solution for network security products up to 4 Gbps throughput performance. Recently, Lionic was awarded one of the Red Herring Top 100 Global Company in 2008.

Cell has planned to launch the new models of Unified Threat Management (UTM) product portfolio into market. Cell UTM can offer a complete set of network security applications: Anti-Virus (AV) scanning and blocking, Intrusion Detection and Prevention (IDP), Instant Messaging/Peer to Peer (IM/P2P) application control and management, web application management such as anti-malicious URL and its protocol filtering. With Cell NetsVision, our centralized management platform deployment, Cell UTM product is targeted for service providers and Security Operation Centers (SOC) to offer their managed UTM service.
